For the second year, we are partnering with Democracy for America on a scholarship program for Netroots Nation 2009.
This is your chance to show off what you've done to move the progressive agenda forward. And it's our chance to ensure that activists of every age, background and economic bracket, representing numerous points of view and all 50 states are able to attend Netroots Nation and make it the richest experience yet.
In 2008, we began with a modest goal of sending 9 activists to Austin, and by the time the program had completed, 30 were on their way. This year, we're setting the bar higher and starting the program with a goal of sending 30 people to Pittsburgh.
But, we can't do it without your help. We need your support to help fund the program, spread the word, encourage people to apply or apply yourself.
