Justin is a political entrepreneur based in NYC. He runs Living Liberally, the national network of progressive social clubs, including the Drinking Liberally happy hours & Laughing Liberally comedy tour. He's a founder of The Tank, a non-profit venue for arts & ideas in Manhattan. He's worked as a parks advocate, Working Assets Fellow & staffer for Senator Clinton, and has written a history of NYC playgrounds. His next book, about "living liberally" in America comes out this spring. He's a Jersey native, Harvard grad, & resident of Hell's Kitchen where he is President of the West 45th Street Block Association.
Raised on the mean streets of New York City's Upper West Side, Katie Halper is a comic, writer, blogger, satirist, filmmaker and history teacher once called "cute and some what brainy" by the National Review. A national director of Living Liberally, Katie is also a founder/ comedian of Laughing Liberally. Her writing appears on Huffington Post, Alternet, Daily Kos, Open Left, Working Life, and Culture Kitchen. Katie is editing her next documentary about Camp Kinderland (where Katie, her mother and grandmother went) and their "Peace Olympics," the camp's non-violent and socially conscious alternative to Color Wars.
Lee Camp is a comedian/humor writer/and sometimes activist. He has headlined over 400 colleges and performed at last year’s DNC. He also ran for president on Comedy Central’s “Fresh Debate ’08.” Never afraid to burn bridges, he went on Fox News’s national morning show and called them “a parade of propaganda and a festival of ignorance.” He writes humor regularly for The Huffington Post and is a contributor to The Onion. Adam Green is co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, a new piece of infrastructure that helps progressive congressional candidates run effective campaigns and win. He is also interim CEO of reform group Change Congress. Previously, Adam served as Director of Strategic Campaigns for MoveOn.org Political Action.
