How to Use a Model (Sponsored Training)

Session Type(s): Training

Training Tag(s): Basic Online Organizing

Starts: Friday, Jul. 12 4:30 PM (Eastern)

Ends: Friday, Jul. 12 5:30 PM (Eastern)

Catalist will step through the basics of modeling, from how models are constructed, how they should (and shouldn’t!) be used, what to know about your model before using it, and what to ask before you decide to purchase or build a custom model. Catalist’s Analytics team builds and maintains a robust set of civic behavior models for the progressive community and often works through these challenges internally. When do we need to build a new model? What are the benefits and what are the costs? Could we do something more effective with the time and money spent on a new model? What are all of the ways a new model can add value, and how do we demonstrate that? This is a frank and open conversation about what models can and cannot do for a campaign or organization. This training is presented by Catalist.
