We couldn’t pull this event off every year without the help and input of the community. From helping curate panels to volunteering on-site, there are lots of ways to get involved in the Netroots Nation planning process.
Local Organizing Committee
Local to New Orleans? Serve on our local organizing committee! Each year we rely on input from local activists and organizations to help us pinpoint issues to highlight, plan service projects or direct actions, do community outreach and navigate logistical concerns. If you’re someone involved in organizing in the New Orleans area, we’d love to have your input. Just email us at panels@netrootsnation.org.
Session Evaluation Committees
Did you know the community helps evaluate our panels and trainings each year? Proposals are broken up by issue area or topic and reviewed by committees of community members like you. Each committee will score 20-40 submissions (generally, a 3-4 hour time commitment). You’ll have about one week to read and evaluate the submissions that we assign to you. The session evaluation signup form will be available in January.
Volunteer!
Volunteering at Netroots Nation is a great way to meet other attendees—plus it’s a ton of fun! Volunteers help with a variety of tasks on-site, including staffing the registration desk, helping with set-up, and stuffing registration bags. Click here to sign up for our 2025 volunteer team. If you have questions, please send an email to volunteers@netrootsnation.org.
