Movement Labs has sent over 50 million texts across thousands of campaigns to support the power building work of Black-led organizations, identifying hundreds of thousands of new supporters. Join us as we share the results of experimental work from registering, recruiting, organizing, and moving potential volunteers up the ladder of engagement to support the power building work of Black-led organizations. We’ll share a basic organizing framework, how to measure success and how to use mass SMS to supercharge organizing in Black communities.

@ChardonnaySingleton is a creative, strategist, digital organizer, trainer, and urban gardener. Born and raised in Tampa, FL her work deeply influenced her commitment to Black Liberation and a profound sense of Sankofa. She’s currently working with Movement Labs to build effective and measurable digital campaigns in service of the Black community. Her current clients include some of the most impact Black Led organizations like Black Voters Matter and Elect Black Women Pac. When she’s not working she’s in her art studio or building relationships in her community to teach and promote self sustainability through urban gardening.
