Arielle Swernoff is Lead Communications Strategist with NY Renews, where she worked with our 270-member coalition to support passage of the nation’s strongest climate law, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. At NY Renews, Arielle organizes our coalition’s media coverage as well as communications, rallies, and non-violent direct actions. Arielle also served as the coalition’s interim coordinator, facilitating communication, decision-making, and planning across our member organizations. Prior to her time at NY Renews, Arielle worked on a variety of electoral campaigns, in public health communications, and for the New York City Council. She is the author of Jewish Currents' guide to self-managed abortion, and once wrote a sexuality and health advice column for teens.
