Fatima Khan is a communications consultant for Muslim Advocates. She has a wide public relations/public affairs background, which includes political campaigns, business strategy, corporate, technology, and crisis communications through public relations agencies Hill & Knowlton, Porter Novelli, and as an independent consultant. Her clients have included Gap Inc., PG&E, AT&T, HP, and SolarTech. When working at Hill & Knowlton, she traveled to the Middle East to manage Samsung’s brand marketing for the Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. She was also part of the corporate social responsibility practices at both Porter Novelli and Hill & Knowlton. Fatima started her career in the press office of the late Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA), where she worked on an education bill and the Patients’ Bill of Rights. She also directed ethnic outreach for General Wes Clark’s presidential campaign, and conducted political outreach in Michigan for Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign.
