Ishmael Bishop is a Digital Strategist at Revolution Messaging. He works with labor unions and non-profits to execute fundraising and communications goals through digital ads, social media, email, and SMS. He comes to Rev most recently from the non-profit sector and spent the 2016 election cycle organizing with Democrats. He is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate and published writer. His essays, which explore black life and big data, have appeared in several online venues, including Mask Magazine and Scalawag. One thing he hopes to learn in 2020 is how to design and execute his own fashion show produced by and for queer and gender non-conforming people.
