Julie Fisher-Rowe is Senior Framing Messaging Coordinator at The Opportunity Agenda, a communications, research, and policy organization dedicated to building the national will to expand opportunity in America. She has over 15 years of experience working with non-profit groups on communications strategy, messaging, framing and media outreach. Julie has worked on issues ranging from affordable housing, community development, to family support, and the arts. Julie has also led successful efforts around brand development, public service announcement campaigns, and strategic communications planning. At The Opportunity Agenda, Julie oversees the organization’s strategic framing work, translating communications research and theory into practical messaging strategies for advocates and activists. In this role, she works with groups across the country to identify opportunities to build public support for social justice issues and policies.
