Satra D. Taylor is an experienced equity advocate, levering policy, partnerships, and research as levers for social change in higher education. Satra is skilled in engaging coalitions, managing collective investments, public speaking, writing for diverse audiences, and equity-focused policy analysis. Satra was the lead administrator responsible for organizational impact and effectiveness in her previous role. Additionally, she previously led policy strategy for a national policy and advocacy organization, culminating in the restoration of Pell Grants for incarcerated students. Satra has attained strong content expertise with a Master's degree focused on Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Michigan and is a current University of Maryland College Park doctoral student studying Higher Education. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Satra obtained her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
