Zaina is a daughter of the Palestinian diaspora and for the last two years has been an organizing member of the Dream Defenders, a youth-led abolitionist organization in the state of Florida. Prior to Dream Defenders she did communications for the Fight for $15 Campaign and Southerners on New Ground. She has been an organizer in the U.S. South for the last 10 years because she believes in building working-class anti-imperialist power.
